"Our love of quilts is what brings us together."

Upcoming Programs

January - "Stash Buster Sale!"  On Tuesday January 24, our program will be a “Stash Buster Sale” with fabrics selling by the ounce.  A typical yard of cotton fabric weighs 5 ounces.  We will have the business meeting first, followed by the sale. Many big yardages are available and many novelty prints. No peeking before the sale, which will be immediately following the business meeting.

March - Lori DeJarnatt, "Reruns, Quilts Inspired by the Past" - Lori is a Quilter and Blogger will be the presenter at our March 28, 2023 meeting.

Lori took her first quilt class in 1993 and has been quilting ever since.  She states that she is inspired by vintage quilts but couldn't afford to purchase every antique quilt she came across, so she started to reproduce them.  It seems to be her favorite style, although mini's, two color quilts, patriotic, and wool appliqué rank high on my favorites list as well.

Lori has been an active blogger for ten years at www.humblequilts.blogspot.com and has hosted several quilt-alongs which are very popular. She lives in a small community and blogging closes the gap between quilters that live far from guilds or quilt groups.  When she's not quilting she can be found outside running, hiking, camping, and she has even been known to jump out of perfectly good airplanes! (with a parachute, of course!) She lives with her husband and a 4-legged running companion; and has two grown children.

Lori can also be found on Facebook as Humble Quilts.

WORKSHOPS
March 29, 2023

Lori DeJarnatt will offer her workshop, String Quilts Your Way on Wednesday, March 29th from 10:00 - 3:00 at Triple Play Resort in Hayden.  This is a great way to use up all those scraps we accumulate!  There will be a one hour break for lunch, which is on your own or feel free to bring a brown bag lunch.  The cost for members is only $45 and the cost for non-members is $55.  Please click on the registration form below and bring it to the January meeting or mail it in.
